- The Champion Power Equipment 100603 Storm Shield Severe Weather Portable Generator Cover by GenTent with self-attaching, toolless installation is designed for Champion inverter generators from 2000 watts to 5500 watts, and allows you to operate your inverter safely outside in nearly any type of weather.
This inverter cover has an innovative self-attaching design and installs easily in three simple steps with no tools necessary. Strap it, frame it, then cover it. The high-strength clamps and fiberglass frame rods connect directly to the inverter, while the adjustable omni-fit electrical panel apron protects your outlets keeping them dry and safe.
Enjoy a neat, finished look while running your inverter with confidence – the Storm Shield cover has the ability to withstand winds up to 70 mph, snow loads up to 18 inches and rain up to 12 inches per day. The durable RF-welded seams and tough vinyl fabric ensure the cover remains waterproof.
Designed with your safety and protection of the inverter in mind, the cover keeps you protected by allowing you to stay running in the worst of weather conditions when running without a cover would be too dangerous.
